Q. What is NAWBO?
A. The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is the largest organization in the country dedicated to supporting women business owners.

Q. Can I just join NAWBO San Diego, and not the national organization?
A. No. When you join NAWBO, you join both the local and national organizations.

Q. What does it cost to join NAWBO?
A. For emerging businesses (those in existence for less than two years), your annual dues are $225 initially, and $200 for renewals. For established business (those in existence for two years or more), your annual dues are $300 initially, and $275 for renewals.

Q. When and where does NAWBO San Diego meet?
A. Our monthly lunch meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at the Sheraton La Jolla, with the exception of May and December. Other NAWBO San Diego events occur throughout the month at venues across San Diego.

Q. Is there a cost to attend the monthly meeting?
A. Yes. The member fee is $35; guests pay $45.

Q. Can I attend NAWBO events if I’m not a member?
A. Yes! Guests are welcome at most of our events; they will pay a slightly higher fee than members to attend. (See above.) Our members-only events, such as Fourth Friday, are clearly noted.

Q. Can I attend NAWBO events if I’m a man?
A. Absolutely! Men are even eligible to join NAWBO.
