NAWBO San Diego’s monthly lunch meetings take place on the third Wednesday of the month (with the exception of May and December) at the Doubletree Hotel in Del Mar. We book speakers who can provide valuable information about marketing, sales, networking, finance and other business-related topics. Our meetings also feature great networking and fabulous door prizes…and they are open to the public. We suggest registering early, as we have been selling out our venue on a regular basis.

This quarterly event offers networking in an informal setting, while enjoying wine and cheese. Thanks to a generous sponsorship from Aflac, there is no cost for members to attend, and guests pay just $10. We thank Jobing.com for providing us with our Mission Valley venue. The final 2009 date is Monday, Sept. 28 from 5-7 p.m. Registration will open in August.

A free members-only event, this is our mastermind group, which meets on the fourth Friday of every month (except November and December) from noon to 1 p.m. Members get together to share experiences, seek advice and provide support for one another at Alliance Consulting Engineers in Kearny Mesa. NAWBO San Diego’s annual awards dinner is held annually in May. Details about making nominations, sponsoring the event and registering for it will be communicated to members and the community at large. The 2010 date will be announced shortly.

We’ll be initiating a holiday event in 2009 to allow members and guests to celebrate the holiday season while making valuable business connections. Stay tuned for details.

We’ll be kicking off a seminar series this fall to feature presentations of valuable information for women business owners. This event will be free to members and guests will pay a nominal registration fee.
